On 21 October 2022, the Office of International Relations organized a Diwali celebration at UTCC. Diwali is a famous festival of India, also known as the “Festival of Lights.” The purpose of the event was to introduce and teach a new culture to our students through fun ways.
It was a unique experience for UTCC students to learn about Diwali and Indian culture. During the event, we enjoyed various Indian cultural performances; students played a quiz about India and won exciting prizes; and lastly, we tasted a delicious Indian dessert called “Gulab-Jamun.” A special thanks to the Indian Council for Cultural Relations for supporting our event and to all the talented dancers for the lovely performances.
