UTCC Office of International Affairs had an opportunity to visit the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to meet H.E Georg Schmidt, Ambassador of Germany to the Kingdom of Thailand and Dr. Alexander Raubold, Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Affairs. H.E Georg Schmidt showed keen interest in attending our upcoming events and share his experience with our students. We discussed the idea of having a “German Language and Culture Day” at UTCC in collaboration with the German Embassy, Bangkok.

Office of International Affairs, UTCC paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Thailand. We thank Mr. Stepan Golovin, Counsellor and Mr. Vladimir Kim, Cultural Attaché for the warm welcome.

UTCC management team visited the Embassy of the Republic of Korea on 28 September, 2020 to meet Mr. Joyoung Jeon, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission. UTCC team received a warm welcome at the Embassy. We discussed how UTCC can work with the Korean Embassy to promote the Korean language and culture at UTCC campus. Minister was pleased to know that UTCC offers Korean major at undergraduate level. He showed interest to visit UTCC and meet the students. We look forward to closely working with the Korean Embassy in the future to promote intercultural activities. UTCC team was led by Dr. Jakarin Srimoon, Vice President, Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Director and Mr. Aung Kaung Pyae from Office of International Affairs.

Global Entrepreneurs Network, (GEN Thailand) visited UTCC Bangkok campus to discuss the possible collaboration between the two organizations.

GEN Thailand team shared the upcoming events they planned in Thailand to promote the Entrepreneurial spirits among the Thai youth and to support the upcoming entrepreneurs. Leaders of both organizations showed keen interest to work on various joint projects and events. GEN Thailand’s upcoming event is “Global Entrepreneurs Week” to be held at Icon-Siam, Bangkok during 16th – 21st Nov, 2020.

One more golden feather added to our cap. It is with great pleasure to announce that Thet Aung Zin, our Global MBA Alumnus from Mandalay Campus, received Fulbright Scholarship to Study Masters in Finance in the USA. We at UTCC wish him all the success in his future endeavours.

UTCC, ranks No. 1 private university of Thailand in the RUR World University Rankings 2020, reaffirming its position as a leading university in the business, trade and service industry in ASEAN region. RUR Rankings is based on four indicators: teaching, research, racial diversity and financial sustainability. Considering the key focus areas, UTCC performed outstandingly in International Co-authored Papers (Academic Work), ranking 158 in the world among the 930 universities worldwide.

On September 17, Hanban Thailand office delegation visited UTCC Bangkok campus, to discuss further cooperation with UTCC.

The team of Hanban Thailand Office visited UTCC to discuss the future collaboration opportunities between the two organizations. Mr. Wang Huichang, Director of Hanban Thailand Office, expressed his keen interest to partner with UTCC for various upcoming projects and activities.

Before the meeting, UTCC team gave a campus tour to the Hanban delegation. Dr. Jakarin Srimoon, Vice president for International Affairs, welcomed the delegation warmly in his office.
