A great start of the 2022 Academic Year with the first onsite meeting with 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 (𝗨𝗢𝗡), 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 our two-degree program partner. Prof. Caroline Chan, Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Partnerships and Mr. Bret Sutcliffe, Manager, Transnational Education from UON visited UTCC on 19 August, 2022 to review the two-degree program and to discuss new areas of collaboration between the two universities.

From UTCC, Dr. Piraphong Foosiri, Vice President for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapan Buavaraporn, Dean, International School of Management, Asst. Prof. Dr. Li Li, Assoc. Dean, International School of Management, Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head Office of International Relations joined the meeting.

Newly appointed Ambassador of Peru to Thailand, H.E. Ms. Cecilia Z. Galarreta Bazan along with her team members Mrs. Carmen Azurin, Minister/Deputy Head of Mission and Mr. Erick Aponte, Counsellor visited UTCC on 7 July 2022.

Peru Embassy and UTCC discussed various areas of collaborations such as:

1. Develop short programs in tourism, gastronomy, and hospitality industry.
2. Develop more meaningful partnerships between UTCC and Peru Universities.
3. Joint research in the area of business and commerce.
4. H.E. Ms. Cecilia showed keen interest to participate in activities focusing on cultural exchange to showcase Peruvian language, art and cuisine.

On 30 March 2022, H.E. Dr. Ramadhani K.Dau, The High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to Malaysia visited UTCC on his official visit to Thailand. UTCC management team and the delegation from Tanzania discuss and exchange ideas on promoting cooperation in education and human resources development, in various fields related to the overall growth of the country, focusing on tourism & services businesses.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮, H.E. Dr. Ramadhani K.Dau – The High Commissioner, Mr. Kajia Vendelin Mshana – Head of Chancery at the High Commission, Mr. Florean Laurean – Trustee Chairman of Association of Tanzanians Diaspora in Thailand, Ms. Supitchaya Sarakong – business Development Manager, attended the meeting.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗨𝗧𝗖𝗖, Ms. Wongduean Simachokedee – Acting Vice President of International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Muanmai Apintanapong – Vice President for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapan Buavaraporn – Dean of International School of Management, Asst. Prof. Dr. Niorn Srisomyong – Assoc. Dean of School of Tourism and Services, Ms.Parichart Thammajinda – Head, Office of International Relations, attended the meeting.

In 2022, Poland and Thailand will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. On this occasion, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Bangkok invites you to participate in the Contest entitled “Logo contest on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Thailand” to create a logo commemorating and promoting this occasion.

The winning logo, selected from the submitted Contest Artworks, has to symbolize a friendly and partner-like relationship between Poland and Thailand, based on mutual respect and understanding.

We strongly encourage #UTCC students to take part in this prestigious competition. The winning entry will be awarded with a high cash prize.

On 25 January 2022, UTCC welcomed the delegates from the Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce and discussed various areas of collaboration between Danish companies and UTCC.
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

• The Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce team offered their support to participate in the future activities organized by UTCC.
• Organize field trips and company visit for UTCC students.
• UTCC will invite Danish professionals to be guest speaker.
• Internship opportunities for UTCC students at Danish companies in Thailand.

From the Danish-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Michael Andersen – Director, Ms. Pimtheera Sanglam – Accounting Administrative Officer, and Ms. Nguyen Dang Thu Huong – Media and Communication Officer (the first UTCC intern) joined the meeting.
From UTCC, Ms. Wongduean Simachokedee – Acting Vice President for International Relations, Ms. Parichart Thammajinda – Head, Office of International Relations, Dr. Li Li – Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Angsuthon Srisuthisa-ard – Program Director (BBA International) attended the meeting.

Swinburne University of Technology in collaboration with Government Big Data Institute, Digital Economy and Promotion Agency, Ministry of Digital Economy and Society will host the “𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮-𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗜 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭”
